some of Ichormyth's story is based on various AUs such as 'Inverted fate', 'TS! Underswap', and an unfinished AU called 'Undertale: the determined saga', but also utilizes plot from other AUs as well (again, these were Ideas that were pitched by the internet, which Flowey was looking at in order to create 'an actually enjoyable experience'.) even going as far as to featuring a party system, which utilizes 'core characters'. The AU itself is similar to it's source material: an RPG that focuses on choices and morality, but differs from the original with new mechanics (such as crafting weapons and key items, and 'learning' new magic skills) and plot. (yes, in this AU, Flowey has taken heavy Inspiration from things he's seen on the internet regarding the game, which results in some rather semi-familiar faces making an appearance.) The result is an AU that is focused on 'enlarging the experience', by bloating the game with extra content and new plot mechanics, even going as far as reusing characters he found on the Internet. To do this, Flowey used Alphys's computer and the 6 human souls to start messing with the code itself (we do see him alter the game files in the original, as seen in the neutral ending, so it makes sense.) The source material has been played with over 99 times now (33 Genocide/No mercy routes, 33 Pacifist routes, and 33 different neutral routes). Essentially, the AU is a result of Flowey trying to alter the source material.
